Riverview Lodge Residential Care Home is a 31-Bed Residential Care Facility offering 24-Hour supervision. Residential-Care homes are also referred to as Homes for the Aged, rest home, personal care home and board and care homes. Riverview Lodge Residential Care Home is licensed by the State of Connecticut and is a community based residence that provides many services and protective supervision with a home-style environment. Residents are ambulatory and have a degree of independence, but usually are unable to live on their own.

We provide assistance with daily needs such as health, social and personal-care needs. Riverview Lodge Residential Care Home uses the services of several health care agencies to assist with resident care. We work closely with medical professionals and outside agencies such as home health aide services, nursing services, rehabilitation services, psychiatric personnel, mental health case management, counseling groups and job placement are available.

Most residents require assistance with daily needs, such as supervision of medications that residents self-administer. We provide a well balanced diet, laundry service, recreational activities, and assistance with appointments and transportation coordination.

The CT River Steam Train out of Essex, CT drops off passengers to enjoy a scenic ferry boat tour of the Lower CT River Valley. There are may other terrific sights and tourist activities in close proximity. The town center has several unique shops, restaurants, and shopping.
